Last weekend was a long weekend and I was lucky enough to go up to my cottage. There was plenty of snow, and lots of friends, which meant I had a great time. This weekend I am going to see the final tour of Swedish House Mafia and I am super excited about that. They are an amazing group and I’m sure their live show won’t disappoint! Here are some of my favourites from this week.
Well it is a blizzard here in Toronto! The snow hasn’t stopped, and luckily for me, I was told to stay home form work today because the roads are horrendous. A snow day is greatly appreciated! I am going to stay inside today, drink lots of hot chocolate, and catch up on a few shows. Hopefully over the weekend I will be able to get outside and enjoy the snow. Snowboarding anyone??
Have a great weekend. Here are some of my favourites from this week.
Yay for the weekend! This week has been pretty busy – I feel like I say this a lot. Maybe its not that my weeks are busy, but instead that I have just jam packed the next few months with a little more than I can comfortably handle. Im quite guilty of spreading myself thin, and right now is no exception – though I am having a blast with everything that I am working on! Here are some of my favourites from the week.
Happy Friday! This weekend is going to be jam packed with friends, work, and my little dancers mini recital. I am super excited to see some friends from university who are travelling into the province for a few days. I haven’t seen some of them since graduation, so tonight will be a fantastic chance to catch up and have a fun night out.
Have a super weekend!
Today is slated as being the most depressing day of the year. It’s January, the holidays are over, the Visa bills are piled high, in Canada it’s a balmy -12 with the windchill, and the week is only supposed to get colder. There is no sun, and it is a Monday. Well shit. Today was doomed before I even rolled out of bed. I’ve been reading a really great book called A Place of Yes – the premiss of the book is not saying yes to everything that comes your way, but instead to analyze every situation you’ve been in and take the good forward, and leave the bad behind. So instead of being a debbie downer today, I’m going to survive the next few hours of class, get home and hang out with my puppy, light some nice smelling candles, and catch up on some cheesy reality tv. Here are some motivational quotes to get you through the day.
