Last weekend was a long weekend and I was lucky enough to go up to my cottage. There was plenty of snow, and lots of friends, which meant I had a great time. This weekend I am going to see the final tour of Swedish House Mafia and I am super excited about that. They are an amazing group and I’m sure their live show won’t disappoint! Here are some of my favourites from this week.

It’s Valentines Day. I’m not the biggest fan of this ‘holiday’ – but I will admit that it was a blast in elementary school when everyone would get lots of cards and chocolates. Whether you are single, or in a relationship, Valentines Day should be an excuse to eat chocolate – a lot of it, in all its various shapes and forms. I love chocolate. You name it, if it is dipped in chocolate I will love it. Below are some awesome chocolate desserts and snack.

I love snacking. I’m not a big ‘3 meal a day’ kind of person – I tend to graze all day and eat a variety of small meals. That being said, I love small, bite sized foods and appatizers that you can have 3 or 4 of and be satisfied. Usually these bite sized foods are easy to make, taste great, and are awesome crowd pleasers at dinners. Below (and above!) are some recipes I want to try – click the picture for the full how-to!

Yay for the weekend! This week has been pretty busy – I feel like I say this a lot. Maybe its not that my weeks are busy, but instead that I have just jam packed the next few months with a little more than I can comfortably handle. Im quite guilty of spreading myself thin, and right now is no exception – though I am having a blast with everything that I am working on! Here are some of my favourites from the week.

high messy bun.

jack and coke slushies.

summer dreaming – maxi dress with side cut outs

I love sandwiches. Grilled cheese, pb&j, BLTs – there are so many different options, and every sandwich can be so different! Having to pack a lunch everyday has led me to become fairly crafty with recipes and creating sandwiches that won’t bore my poor little tastebuds. Below are a few recipes that I want to try out in the next few weeks. All appear to be fairly easy to make!
