remember, remember.

Though I’m not American, September 11th still had (and has) a profound impact on me. It is a day to remember, and honour, the innocence and loss that was felt not only in New York, and America, but across the world. Though I was only in grade 6 at the time, my teacher let us watch the live television reports, as he felt it would be a defining moment for our generation – a low point for us to work up from, to learn from, and to grow from. Every year, this day is yet another reminder that life is precious and should not be taken for granted.
